A note to all prospective clients:

We believe midwives offer the best maternity care available and we do not say this lightly. You and your baby deserve the best that money can buy. If you believe that "the best money can buy" is a hospital birth, then that is where you should truly be. The growth and safety of yourself and your unborn child are absolutely priceless and deserving. Choose us not because midwifery care is affordable, but because you believe it is the best for you.

 

Payment Options:

We take self-pay and will file insurance for you, but it is up to you to collect the money from the insurance company. Most of our clients have insurance. We do it this way simply because your insurance company is FAR more likely to pay YOU and to pay you MORE money and FASTER than they do us. Direct-Entry midwives in Colorado DO NOT TAKE MEDICAID. We wish we could, but is not in our law.

 

Barter/Trade:

If you desire our services, but truly do not have the money, sometimes another arrangement can be reached. We believe that everyone who desires midwifery care should be able to receive it.

 

Midwifery Care:

$3300 for full prenatal, birth, postpartum care, 24/7 on call availability upon entry to care through 6 weeks postpartum, and both of us at your birth. Beyond the standard care, it includes a mini combination forgiveness therapy treatment(BET), naturopathic, and muscle testing appointment. As well as a $20 discount on any other appointments for forgiveness therapy and maintenance of naturopathic balancing throughout your pregnancy and postpartum, while you are under our midwifery care. This amount can be spread out in any way that is convenient to you. This DOES NOT include labs or supplements. The FULL amount is due by 36 weeks of pregnancy.

Childbirth Classes:

$150

 

Labs and Supplements:

Typically, insurance will pay for your labs, but for self pay clients they can run anywhere between $100-$500 and that is only what the lab charges us; we charge you NOTHING to draw them. Usually, we encourage our mothers to take certain supplements depending on your needs along with an excellent diet, at the very least, prenatal vitamins. This pricing varies so greatly it is too hard to give an estimate.

 

Other circumstances:

If you transfer out of care because your pregnancy becomes high risk or for any other reason you will be charged per visit. Also, if you enter into care very late the pricing will be broken down per visit if it may be less expensive. However, keep in mind, per-visit is generally more expensive than the lump fee.

Unbundled Per Visit Fees:

Initial visit: $200
Prenatals: $150 each
Postpartums $150 each

 

Naturopathic and Forgiveness Therapy (BET) Pricing:

Full Naturopathic appointment:

$60 for an adult. $20 for a child. Sessions are typically 45-60 min. They include contact reflex analysis (muscle testing) and a recommendation of herbs, homeopathics, vitamins, and therapeutic touch, all depending on what you need.

Natural preconceptual or infertility counseling:

$60

"Mini" Naturopathic appointment:

$35 for naturopathic questions asked on the phone lasting longer than 10 min and less than 30min that are unrelated to your pregnancy or for someone else.

Forgiveness Therapy (BET: Backman Emotive Technique)

$95 per session, 45-90 min. $75 per session if you are a midwifery client.

Full Body Balancing:

A combination of all naturopathy, muscle testing, and forgiveness therapy costs $130 for a full 2 hour session.
